About the Trainer
Dr. David Caruth in Athens Greece
Dr. Caruth is an educator with over 25 years experience as an Academic Advisor, teacher-trainer, college professor, and administrator. He served on the Board of Stanley British Primary School in Denver, Colorado; is a former Director at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and has collaborated with school districts and Departments of Education in 18 states and the District of Columbia. Dr. Caruth served as the Director of Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning in Washington, DC, has taught graduate-level Research Methods for Non-profit Organizations at Regis University, and graduate-level Action Research at Lesley University. He was also an Assistant Professor of African American Studies at The Metropolitan State College of Denver, and taught American Government and Politics, and Introduction to University Life at the University of Wyoming. Dr. Caruth led efforts to provide graduate-level professional development courses and Masters-level education to thousands of teachers. He is a published author in the areas of Transformative Learning, and Breaking the Cycle of Poverty. He is also a Certified, Center for Teaching Effectiveness, Time-To-Teach Classroom Management trainer.
